DNF. I’m bored and don’t care anymore. There’s no plot left

I’m so close to DNF’ing this book 🥱 It’s flat and boring with a weak plot and mediocre spice. I waited half the book for her to even talk and she’s said nothing of importance. The one spicy scene I’ve seen was like a wilted jalapeño that’s been hiding in the back of the refrigerator. This book is dressed up to be a dark gothic romance but there’s no substance to it.

I’m bored 🥱… someone tell me there’s a climax coming soon. Pun somewhat intended

So she’s listed Take Me back to Eden by Sleep Token AND Digital Bath by Deftones. This might just be my new favorite author 🖤

This ending better be a banger because the chemistry between Ferris and Hendrix is slacking 🥱 the spicy scene so far was a banger though! 🖤🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🥵💨

The narration is excellent but the story is boring 🥱 likeeeeee what are we doing? 😭
