I always enjoy books set in the Pacific Northwest

A former Patient calls Alex in the middle of the night asking Alex for help. When Alex gets to the hospital the boy has escaped. He is later found at the scene of a double murder. Alex is not happy with the answers he is getting so he decides to investigate.

Psychic, Cassie Niell, makes a Fatal mistake while working with the L.A police department. She retired to a small town where she will see no more murders. Wrong!

I enjoy this series, featuring Aleut investigator Kate Shugat. She had left her position as an investigator for the Anchorage D. A.'s office and retired to her father's remote homestead. In this book she is asked by her former boss and lover to find a missing park ranger and the FBI agent sent to find him.

I suffered a fall which left me pretty much house bound for the past six months. During that time I have been reading google free books. They are generally the first book of a series. I have found about 12 series I want to follow and a few I really did not like. I found all of Blake Pierce's books enjoyable. I have read about 60 of these books so it puts me close to my goal for 2024.

A look at the Alaska State Park

Yellowstone National Park. This one has that final plot twist at the end.

I enjoyed this stand-a-lone novel. Sarah moves herself and two daughters to a remote, rundown house with plans to renovate it so she and her siblings can sell it. Just as she moves to town two concerns emerges. Number one was her youngest daughter calmly remarking that she had seen a ghost who needs her help. Second young girls are disappearing from the area.

I want to look in to more in this series.

In this stand-a-lone, Olivia had always been told that her mother died giving birth to her so when a lawyer shows up to tell her she has inherited her mother multi-million dollar company and a letter she was shocked. The letter asked her to find two friends from college and make right a 40 year-old crime.

I read the paperbacks when I am waiting places or if I am somewhere I do not want to take a Hardback or a library book. I enjoy the quick easy read here.

I have always liked Jonathan Kellerman's books and find that I also like his the ones written with his son.

We are introduced to detective, Michael Bennett, and his family. They include his dying wife, Maeve, his ten adopted children ages three to twelve and of many ethnic backgrounds. Also we meet Seamas, his grandfather a Catholic Priest.
Another Patterson book with good plot and characters with good and not so good qualities that you form a bond with.

I did not finish the book as I had read it too recently.

As always a good read. Well worth the reread.
