Not quite sure what I am reading and can not see this as a Broadway success.

More challenging to read than what I expected due to the early English dialog. Easier than 1984!! Every politician should read this, if not every history student. There is a lot of good information about the start of our country.

Jennifer's account is direct and heartbreaking. I cried for her in a couple parts. I just can't imagine. I have a 20 year old in college who wanted to live alone, we said no way. Glad we stood our ground. Jennifer's reactions and thoughts concerning the rape kit, the questions, her families response, the little things - like being left alone in a 1st floor bedroom were informative.

Love the perspective of a doctor a fresh look after many books take the perspective of cops. Love how doctors pushing Ritalin is addressed in the book.

Ten-twenty on a Monday morning with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Oh, blessed decadence. It had been almost half a year since my retirement and I was still amazed at how easy it was to make the transition from compulsive overachiever to self-indulgent bum. There are no more two relatable sentences in my entire life.
