DNF because got returned (hold line is long) and not sure it’s worth it to get in line again. Just ok

It got auto returned to the library so now I have a 10 week hold before I can finish it

Audio book got returned to the library and not sure if/when I’ll be able to get it back

So far it’s more of the same. In the first book it was fun but now it just feel repetitive… the ghost story is not progressing? I like hearing about the characters lived BUT this is too much - ratio wise with the rest of the story

So far this feels like an exposition of characters? I’m getting lost and the flow feels disjointed. Might put a pause on this…

We started together as a road trip audio book but then someone listened while I wasn’t there soooo Making a guess in % and will fix later when I get it from Libby.

I usually like split timelines but this feels chaotic. I also am starting to dislike our main character. She needs to use her brain more.

The characters are bothering me, doing dumb things

Overall fun but I can’t tell if she’s a web designer, graphic designer, or UI designer? I think web since she’s not doing UX research lol but it seems like there might not be coding happening? I’m so curious

Audiobook narrator has weird intonation … and overall sounds more YA than adult. Not the most eloquent or advanced story telling. But interesting concept at least

Just ok. But also just finished listening to 1st storm light archive book so this insurance doesn’t live up to that same level of fantasy 😅

So far not seeing any sources for the claims he’s making… not loving that. If you’re going to write about things and proclaim them and try to talk science please include data.

My mother in law wanted me to read this book. I like the environment parts tying into “god creation” and such … but not loving all of the hyper religious things (yes I know this is a religious publisher lol) I’m just more modern Christian in many ways sooo Will be interesting to see where he falls with his writing.

Ok i definitely complained about this/paul saying he loved this series but it’s actually pretty good. I wish the names were a little more distinctive for all these military men lol, hard to keep track with the audio book

So far it’s a lot of telling instead of showing with the world building and learning about the characters… I want more showing and more connection to the characters

Reading some American girl books for nostalgia purposes, saw some reels about them and wanted to see how they held up lol
