Having only read Elric, reading this dross does not put me in the mind for reading the several other Moorcock in my collection.

And once more we must travel under the mountains, through the dwarven mines...blah, blah, blah!

Having only ever read Hitchhiker's, thought it time to start from the beginning and give the five book trilogy a go.

29% of way through, taking a break to read something a little lighter, not giving up.

Suspending belief, big time and getting through it slowly. Can't help imagining Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as main characters.

Began reading Gone, Baby, Gone until realized there were others preceding it, so am reading in order.

Not getting the same spark I usually get from Nicholls.

Loved The Understudy and Starter For Ten, what can I lose?

Never have I read a book & got 50% of the way through for it have dragged like this & gotten nowhere. Some reviews say it has kept them up all night, why? deciding what else they could read instead.
