A truly disappointing addition to the Crowns of Nyaxia series. Too dark, too graphic. Every other scene was a fight with the soulless, and I truly did not care what happened to Kyrene. I have always pictured Septimus as a chain smoking creep, so it was quite a jump to have him become some sex god. He got a lot of redemption, but I still don’t care about him at all.

This book is probably getting a much higher rating than it deserves because I loved the show so much! A rare instance where the show is much better than the book. Garrett is truly the best on the show and truly the worst in the book. The writing is not good, but the spice delivers! I have never watched hockey but am somehow now obsessed with hockey players!
