Conflict.
In this part of the book, Becka´s friend, Krissi, starts talking about receiving mysterious messages from an alien being. After what had happened in the Mansion with her hand, only Becka takes her seriously about what is going on. This mysterious being calls itself Xandrak. And Becka suspects that this is not what it seems and that there is more to it than what she is writing. Something is up.
