I don’t know how I feel about this. I’m not entertained…. I’m not enjoying it… but it’s compelling.

Even while listening to this audiobook I’m still pretty neutral about Kamala Harris, I am in awe of what she accomplished with her campaign with just 107 days. However, there are some parts of this that are just…. Depressing. Sad.

Ana and Din have such great chemistry. The relationship between boss/subordinate is written so well.

I’m preordering the next book as soon as it’s available.

This book is edging closer and closer to DNF status.

I love when a mystery leaves me stumped.

This is dragging. My goodness.

All of which just got cut.

Page 29 of this book made me so bad I to shut it and close my eyes and pretend like I didn’t read it.

Just like the first book in this series, Schuesterman is attempting to make a statement about something, he reaches for it and then pulls away at the last moment.

The Christian- esque religious pathology that is happening in this novel is…. Something. It’s something.

I am by no means hating this. I just don’t think I’m enjoying it.

“How else will they know their place in the universe? Isn’t it the proper order of things for lesser beings to worship that which is greater than themselves?”

The religious overtones of this installment is so surprising to me but it also shows I wasn’t really paying attention. Because what do people typically turn to when they no longer have access to something? Religion.

I haven’t read a book with more than 400 pages in a while, so who knows long it’s going to take me to read it. Enjoying it so far though! lol

This is why I don’t read sports novels. Gives me anxiety.
