This gal really writes some page turners. At first, it was a bit anticlimactic, as I tend to unwittingly predict things, but she got me at the very end. Sheesh.

If you can get past the unique, sometimes unbelievable storyline with a deep triggering subject, you will find a beautiful, messy story about the power of love, family, and forgiveness.

Hmm. Weird. Engrossing at times, confusing at times, creepy at times, vague at times. Grappling with childhood trauma with a cult like feel.

I really enjoyed this one! The beginning had me giggling about all the absurdity of human life. The end had me sentimental about all of the beauty of human life. A unique and wise perspective from the eyes of an alien.

Sigh. What a beautiful book. It definitely lead me to many moments of introspection, evoking several sentimental and teary moments. So many savable quotes too. Really loved this one.

This was a good twisty one wrapped up in a neat little bow.

This was decent. Really would appeal to avid gamers who understand or are interested in the complexities of game building, but also a good coming of age story. Started off strong, took a bit to get through the middle, then picked back up by the end.

Man. The parallels to our current realities really makes you think and feel. Good thought provoking book.

Once again, the author brings to light contemporary issues and topics that need to be discussed, understood, thought about and FELT with the heart. You are bound to find some kind of personal growth from this book. I loved it. Side note: I learned a helluva lot about bees too. 🐝 ❤️

Definitely a high-lighting, dog-eared, read over again and share kind of book. ❤️

My husband started watching the Netflix series and then it became a mad rush to hurry and read the book before he finished so I could watch too. Pretty good!

I got this as a present for Christmas. It’s not something I would have bought for myself, but I was pleasantly surprised! Matthew is an awesome storyteller and I was fully engrossed in his life, and boy has he truly LIVED. Really good memoir. Bonus points: I love the smell of books and this one smells phenomenal. 😂

I dived into this book thinking it was going to be just an easy, fun read that I would forget about tomorrow. It was fun and easy, but so much more. I was totally invested in the characters and loved all the twists and turns that it took. Loved it.
