This has so much potential but SC is making my brain melt - and not in a good way.

One of my favourite films of all time. It's nice to see that Scorsese stuck to the book material!

Shame I'm forcing myself to read this now as I borrowed it from someone who I would now rather not be in contact with and, thus, would like to have no more attachments to. Alas.

I'm still determined for this to be the next book I finish - but rather than actually finishing it, I just keep procrastinating it and only reading fanfiction - which won't help with my Goodreads challenge

I am DETERMINED to finish this before I finish any other book or go on holiday on Sunday!

I simultaneously really adore this couple but still feel like I needed more sweet bonding scenes!!!!

Reading this makes me feel like my parents just like "why would you spend like that?", "why would you let them keep taking advantage of you like that?" etc.

I understand Clarrie's worries and things with mental health but my fucking God. It's exhausting. My own mental health drives me up the wall, similarly, but I'm glad I try to fight it.

Clarrie is just making her nightmares come true by pissing off Simon by playing games. How about a simple "I need some time, space or get help or something, before we pursue a relationship?" ACTUALLY AIM FOR HAPPINESS!
