I can’t remember when I last loved and hated a reading experience at the same time. This is really good, but also maddening. Did the author really have to quote every single criticism ever mentioned in a newspaper or by another politician or general? Hours and hours of this. We get it already!

The book is good, but the audiobook is not. With multiple POVs from 3 different species, why not use multiple narrators instead of a single woman with 1 accent and no perceptible variation in her voice?

I see the light at the end of the tunnel of this very long book!

This one just can't be read quickly. Still going a little each day.

Probably the most dense music book I've attempted in a while. Charles Rosen has a musical intellect I've only seen equalled a handful of times.

When chapter 1 opens with the explosion of the moon, that's a good sign of an interesting plot.
