I became obsessed with this topic after watching Hotel Rwanda. I could hardly believe that i knew nothing about this event as it was happening. Funny how we focus on some things and ignore others. I don't know why the media puts emphasis on some things and ignores others. It is very interesting to see this from a survivors perspective..

This is a phenomenal book about an amazing man that has persevered against unspeakable obstacles. It is a great reminder of the importance of giving others dignity and respect. It also shows what can be accomplished once you set your mind to something. It is also a great book for those that like history. I enjoy reading history.
