Reading how much Laura Ingalls Wilder’s daughter Rose helped in the writing of the Little House books with basically no recognition is fascinating. Along with the times that they are being written. The descriptions of the depression and Hoover’s fall to Roosevelt from a writer’s stand point are quite interesting.

Listening to this one on audible as I go to and from work. At times I don’t want to get out of the car, I am loving the story line.

I had no idea Maureen McCormick went through as much as she did as a teen and young adult. So far a really interesting read.

Started this as a family a long time ago but never finished it. Starting from the beginning again so we can remember what was happening. Working on talking to my baby more and thought reading would be a great way to not only interact but add to the quality time as well.

Loved the addition of the forward and pages of her own words!! Still amazed by everything even after 25 years.

Quite interesting so far. Hard to put it down.
