Started off hokey and predictable but it’s picking up

Hmm…the story just had its first bombshell. Hope it keeps picking up because I was starting to get bored

Once I upped the audiobook speed to 1.2x, this became digestible and now I’m hooked

The dramatized audio makes this book riveting in most aspects EXCEPT how Violet and Zaden remain nauseatingly, annoyingly, and forcefully obsessed with each other for what still is just sex and attraction instead of “soul mate destiny”- god forbid we don’t hear her think how beautiful he is before every thought. It becomes ridiculous and kind of ruins the plot
