Ngl I'm having a hard time rooting for either of these people: she's annoying as fuck and he's completely unfazed after killing someone he's known his whole life. Like, these aren't even morally gray characters; they're dumb characters.

Dude, romance books where the characters get together less than 100 pages in (or 50, in this case) are incredibly boring.
