I was in year 10 when I got this from the library and pretended I read it for my Throsby creek JGP. Now I’ve finished school and a bit older and I am enjoying it immensely! It’s actually got so much insight and little philosophical sprinkles that really resonate with me. And I LOVE reading about my own town and places I’ve actually been!! Plus the author is a kindred spirit- I love observing and recording stuff

I’m loving this very authentic feeling microcosm of Australian life. Like I’ve always loved Craig silvey, Trent dalton, Tim Winton (sort of) and the superb descriptions of the landscape and small little towns and now I get to enjoy all this AND from a female writer
