Got it as a holiday read but was distracted by something else. I will go back.

DNS. After not liking the first book I didn't continue with the series. I downloaded them on KU so I didn't lose anything by not reading it.

DNF. A fifty year old protagonist who could be mistaken for 80 if her thoughts and behavior are anything to go by isn't my cup of tea. Add in a horrific child who treats their mother like a dishrag and I am done.

I will come back to this one later.

Can't recall why I stopped. Will try again later.

I used to love Patricia Cornwell and have read many of her early works. Then the werewolf one really put me off. This one is enjoyable but was the writing always so wooden?

So far we have a father who suddenly appears and tells stories and then just as mysteriously vanishes and aan authlor who knows 2/5ths of sweet fuck all about feminism. Let's hope it gets better.

I'm reading the e version and I am on page 481 of 1204. This book was meant to last until next Thursday. I might be lucky and stretch it to Monday afternoon.
