Didn’t realize how much I missed Wessa until I started reading and was immediately sad watching them be in love and happy with the words “she couldn’t recall the exact blue of his eyes” haunting me the entire time

I always forget how much anxiety and second hand embarrassment this part gives me

*eye twitching* I had very low hopes that this series wasn’t going to get extended AGAIN and now that I know that this series is just never going to end, it makes me want to read this one even less. And if you’re asking why I’m still reading it if I hate it so much let me tell you it’s PURE SPITE!!! I have spent way too much time suffering through this series to not see it all the way through unfortunately

The way I’m not instantly in love with this book as I was the first one is making me nervous. Hopefully it gets better and it’s just because it’s the beginning because I really loved the first book.

Look y’all I know these books are bad but I have spent way too much time invested in them, not to attempt to try to finish the series (and yes I know there’s still like 3 books left after this one). Anyway, I love reading Cas’s POV because this man is so fucking WHIPPED for Poppy and it’s essentially what SJM never gave us which is the story from the love interest POV and I’m here for it… for now.
