I really appreciate how Kristin Hannah writes such beautiful stories about periods in history that aren't well known

Absolutely brutal, in more ways than one. Literally every trigger warning. I could not stop reading, I needed to know what happened. This is my official petition for this to be a movie or mini-series.

This was the first thriller I've read in a while that really kept me hooked and guessing, with twists and turns I never saw coming.

I really enjoyed this. Lots of witty banter, made me laugh out loud. Well written, some lines I had to read again to savor. Family drama was a little too dramatic. And spoiler: as a public library employee, there is nothing romantic about the study rooms, please don't- just don't do it.

after the line "will it ever stop? the wanting you?" I knew this is a thinly veiled romance novel. can't do it.

Blergh, halfway through and I'm just astounded that she is so much more concerned about boy things then the fact she can't remember the last 6 months.
