:D I got this arc copy after winning it on MSFV.com. It's even signed! I'm enjoying the intro so far and look forward to the adventure once they get off the shuttle.

I was hooked in less than 4 minutes. What a great opening line! I'm really enjoying how all the old fairytales are woven together in this amazingly well written story.

Third time listening to this AMAZING story. One of my favorites. :)

Enjoyable. Wish there weren't so many infodumps. Hoping something other than running happens soon. It has to since I'm almost at the end, right?

Well written so far. Enjoyable. I like the main character, though I do wish whatever was going to happen would happen soon. My daughter really enjoyed this book (and it's sequel), but agrees that the "ta-da" was a little slow in coming for book 1.

This has got to be one of the funniest books I've EVER listened to. <3ing it! Gonna put it on my hubby's phone as soon as he gets home.

Oh. My. Gosh! I LOVE this! So much voice. True to a 14-yr-old boy brain. And with ADD. Oh my gosh. I have laughed out loud so many times already and I'm only 14 minutes in. :D

This book has the feel of The Hunger Games...not in content exactly, but the way it is written. Very good. It captured me and sucked me in by page 4. I'm really enjoying it, so far. Will be interesting to see what comes after the initiation.

I received a digital ARC of this book more than a year ago but never read it (forgot I had it). This summer, SYNC offered the audio format of this book for free. It is the latter format I am 'reading'.

I'm having a hard time getting into this. It is written very differently than her other series. UPDATE Had to return it to the library. After having it for 2 months, I only got to chapter 2. Just couldn't get into the story. I'll try again later.

Finally started to care about the characters of this book and my library loan expires. Requested the printed copy from the library and will hopefully get to finish it on Tuesday.

It's too late and I have to stop, but my goodness, I'm sad. And happy. And heartbroken. And in love.

IT HAS BEGUN! Oh, and the almost last scene of book 2 has been bothering me all night. I keep feeling like I read nearly the exact same scene before. I'm wondering if maybe there wasn't something similar to it in the TMI series. Makes me want to start that again once I finish this. :)

I know this is supposed to be an amazing story, but I'm having a hard time getting into it.

Started this about 2 days ago. Quick read. Enjoyable. Not the best for the year, and not nearly as good as Delirium, but enjoyable.

The author is also the reader for this audiobook. He does a decent job & obviously knows how he wants his MC to sound. I'm having a hard time sinking into the character b/c he is in such lala land, but I imagine that is either because he is so young or is his coping device. The MC so far has remained completely oblivious to what is going on around him & keeps making up extravagant stories to explain it all away.

confused, interested, hoping to be terrifically surprised by something to go drastically 'wrong' since everything is told to you right at the beginning. We shall see...
