I am really not enjoying this, which is dissapointing because i love the series.

Harry Dresden takes on a case from a woman and then he basically decides he is going to be her muscle. Its not even a case, its just harry going around threatening people so far. The only conclusion i can come to so far is that the book is trying to show just how shaken Harry is after the big battle along with all the other stuff.

Amazing book to leave on the coffee table, full of amazing stories to pass short periods of time. The cat likes to lay on it, it makes him feel like he’s cool I think

I’m glad I decided to give it one more chapter, the first few were harsh. This is actually a really entertaining story, and it will really make you glad death DOES exist.

I need to do a big Sanderson reread of all the cosmere stuff. There is a lot going on in this book, I wasn’t expecting more wax and Wayne books, but they’re definitely welcome and this book is promising a lot of exciting cross over stuff in the future.

This would make a really really good video game.

This is so dope, I love how much the commerce is coming together. The breadth and organization of Sandersons imagination is just amazing.

Finally starting this! This has been a slow year for books for me, I blame discovering Hades by supergiant, and elden rings being released!

Entertaining, but sometimes also very frustrating. I took a break from this book to learn binary so that the first 5 or 6 chapter weren’t gibberish. This book is definitely one you want to read when your in a curious state, or want to learn. It’s not great car audio material in the beginning, I’m hoping it picks up a little more of that vibe eventually, for now though, I do like learning new things!

Entertaining for sure, totally not what I’d normally expect from Scalzi, I keep thinking I’m reading Adrian Tchaikovsky for some reason. The story is fun as hell, very fun, especially being read alongside The Emperors New Brain!

Another ridiculous book in this series. Seriously though, I love these books. They’re not amazing literary achievements, but they are a great escape! Also, I can’t read serious stuff 24/7! Especially since Elden Ring came out, it’s definitely made my reading suffer. Ahwell, I got really into hades right before that and it won a Hugo award, so at least video games aren’t totally bad right? Lol

Started reading this because of how awesome “the unlikely escape of Uriah Heap” was, plus I haven’t read any Dickens since highs school, and dickens was important to my youth.

This is a nice book for me to read, because it’s pretty much all lore, mysteries, and character development, which are favorite things of mine in a books

Not as far along as I thought I’d be, but I’ve been really busy with classes lately. The author is really starting to find her voice. I have a hard time with abusive males in stories, probably cause of how I grew up. Abusive people overall really bother me.

I want to hate Tanaka so much, but I just feel sorry for her.

This is a beautiful story, I love all the art and antique furniture. The father still haunts me, poor Theo.

But I want to murder this kids fictional dad! What a piece of shit!
