⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book has been on my TBR since meeting the author at an author talk at a librarian conference in 2018. It’s a memoir of a 20-something and is a millennial version of West Wing meets Sex in the City. Lots of drama, drinking, and DC power players, if that’s your thing.

3.5 ⭐️ I loved this take on Pride and Prejudice, from Mary’s perspective. Marriage or misery? The first third I wasn’t so sure since much of the dialogue was lifted from the original but eventually it got to new developments.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was in a reading slump this summer and this book was great to read. It’s funny and heart-felt, with entertaining characters.

My nephew devoured this series a couple years ago and I’ve been wanting to read it ever since. The first book is giving LOTR vibes and I look forward to continuing the series.

Thought I would like this more, especially since it’s about a librarian. Again, my enjoyment probably suffered from my reading slump since I was reading this on vacation but lost my Libby loan so didn’t finish until this week. Lots of character growth in this book, which is always good but makes it more stressful to read, lol.
