I hope Will doesn’t get sucked in by Laura Pennel. He’s got a good heart, but he’s on the right path for the wrong reasons. I hope he pulls his head out of his butt before it’s too late

I’ve been having issues with Louis Kent, Amanda's son, for a while. His selfishness and sense of entitlement are unnerving, but he crossed the line now. What he did to Kathleen is despicable and I no longer like him. I hope he gets what’s coming to him.

Now I hate Judson Fletcher for two reasons. One for Peggy McLean; the other for the yellow hound. I was disappointed before, but that’s escalated to loathing. I don’t know if he can come back from this

Is a bluestocking and Duncan is highly educated. I doubt that they would speak in sentence fragments.

The sex is getting so monotonous. If they aren’t doing it, they are thinking about it. It’s old. I want some emotion. Please!!

I’m close to DNFing this book. There’s just no substance to it

This is a good story, but the sentence fragments are making me cringe. There are so many of them and it’s making the flow choppy and uneven. It’s also making the author look lazy, which I’m sure she is not

I’m going to finish this book, but it’s not going to be easy. There are so many instances of wrong words being used that it’s getting on my nerves.

And the character descriptions are lacking unless you’re Joyanna. I want to see Edmund, his brothers, and Etienne too. I’ve gotten a glimpse of Edmund, but that’s it for the men in the story

This is such a great story, but it’s frustrating that the character descriptions are scant. I still don’t have a clear picture of any of them

This book is so suspenseful. I know something big is coming. I know it involves Grace. I have my guess, but will wait to the end to see if I’m right. How I want these two to get their happily ever after, but something evil is on the horizon. I can feel it. I just can’t see it yet
