The art fits very well and is a delight but the story doesn't match it. Not sure I'll read vol.2 even though it's currently free for me with Kindle Unl!

A nice 1930's crime story, with a noir feeling and some supernatural also. The pleasure here is in the writing style and also how it's narrated. A pleasant listen

What happened to Lucifer was the question driving the story here but that almost takes second stage as we get more personal with some of the "gods". Amazing art, the colouring is top notch. Really liked the unexpected pages (ExCel map was ridiculously funny). And the ending is wild! So many questions that only the next volume can answer...

At times it seemed like the same old super-hero comics, but in fact there are a few redeeming qualities in this book. I especially remember the reference to Marvel Comics as canon, inside a comic! Stories are entertaining, art is good in general although a few sections by different artists were not so good
