This book is a perfect example of why fad diets fail. It is full of complex instructions mixed with “rah-rah you can do it” side stories of success. I think 20 pages could have covered all the important stuff without so much bullsh*t. Between calculators and appendices, the reader has to bounce back and forth to learn whether they’re allowed 2 ounces of this or 1 tablespoon of that. Seriously?
