Re reading my childhood favourite and I gotta say ummm... I'm glad my reading tastes have changed!

I was born in the late 90s & my household was pro sinead oconnor's music growing up so I only knew her songs and actually had no idea about all of the hatred for her & her politics! Wild!!

3/4 of the way through the book & I decided to start the audio book now too!

Im actually NOT OKAY. Wasn't loving this book the way I've enjoyed Hernandez's other works but this ending is tearing me apart wth

WHATTTT???!?!!!

The emails between the social worker and Hina the facilitator are making me so mad

I know it's accurate in terms of language used at the time and in the situations but hearing the T slur so many times is damn jarring
