It's so well written that I could almost smell the scents described in it.

I love it when the main character is NOT stupid! And not a damsel in distress, waiting to be save, while doing nothing... 🙄

I remembered the general plot, but I forgot how well written this book was.

I really need to make a shelf on goodreads, with Audiobooks for cleaning the house, when you have ADHD.

This was almost cute, until it became really stupid.
So... a 35 old woman, former rich girl, gets into trouble because she unknowingly sells a pot of weed to a client. Because "it looked exotic". Come on! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Let's see what's all this fuss about.

I don't think I'm the target audience for this book.
1: I had to google LitRPG.
2: I haven't played a game in 20 years. I prefer to read.
3. I'm not a dude. And all the jokes felt flat.

Maybe I'm from a different culture and it's hard for me to understand. But when someone close to me dies, the last thing I would think about is going to a big neighborhood party, just days after. No grieving time to process the emotions, the lost... nothing. And you wander why the teenagers are all angry, depressed and self destructive?
There is something profoundly wrong in this...

Why am I listening a Christmasy audiobook, in the middle of May?

I'm listening this gem, while I do some boring, tedious tasks, at work.
For 3 hours, I listened how the main character returned to her hometown, where she discovered the magic of cleaning, moping the floor and cooking.
3 hours!!!
Work seems more appealing now...

This is so unbelievable sloooooow...
Not bad, just very dull.
It reminds me alot of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell. And it's not a good thing. I keep waiting for SOMETHING to happen, but it's not.

A wife is asked to write a list of what she admires at her husband. So, apparently, she appreciates that "he lets her spend the money that she makes, however she wants." And also "he takes out the trash ONCE A MONTH."
Oh, boy... if the bar would be any lower, it would be in hell.

I hate the bad boy trope, who is a violent jerk with everyone else, BUT not (so much) with the heroine.

Many of my Goodreads friends praise this book. We will see... So far, I've found the story boring, the writing mediocre, and the main characters annoying as hell. Hope it will improve. 🤞

Honestly, for a thriller, it is quite boring so far. 😴
I push myself to keep on reading, just to finish it and get over it.

What's up with the curfew hours? They are two adults, walking around at night... and they risk getting a ticket? Really? Are the laws really that stupid in the USA?

When you're a man who spends time with a childhood friend, who happens to be a woman now... and everytime you meet another man, you become gelous and HAVE to ask her "what do you think about him? Did you ever had a crush on him?" Even your own brother! ...Man, you have troubles!!! That deep insecurity will guarantee a lifetime of misery to you and your partner. Please, find some professional help!

Why is menstruation mentioned so often, but handled so badly?

At first, the FMC is ashamed of buying sanitary pads, like a silly teenage girl, not a grown woman. Then, she casually blurted to the MMC she's going to menstruate soon and again she is embarrassed.

And... on her first day of her period, she starts a bike race!!! What??? When did this turn into fantasy?

Just 20 pages in... and I already want to quit. Who TF wants to kill the angel of death, made of darkness and shadows... with a knife?
This reads like something I would have liked (or wrote) when I was 12.

This is sooo painfully slow... And I really hate the very short chapters. 3 pages long??? Why? I can't get immersed in the story when I'm constantly jumping from place to place.

This is so, sooo bad... But I just can't stop reading. I wanna see how much worse this will get.

After another couple of months, he suddenly wants kids. On the road. When she is not excited about this, he wants to break up with her...for her own good.

This is becoming too stupid to care about!
