okay, aside from Poppy getting to much redundant thinking time in the second half of the book, I've been going to bed at irresponsible hours reading this

okay I know all Disney moms die but this book is describing Addie's ''friend'' getting the kids and husband she's wanted forever like she just got terminal cancer lol xD

you know Addie Larue is fiction because she's an artist that actually fills up her sketchbooks instead of leaving them blank and staring at them from affar.

aaah I liked Serpent and Dove but I'm having a harder time with Blood and Honey. Book 1 had a little too much french thrown in it but it was generally fine, this one has more grating stuff then book 1 for me. I thought since it was a common critique in book 1, book 2 would have chilled a bit

the narrator for the audiobook (Katherine Kellgren) is really good, im starting to suspect she's half the reason I'm liking this book

I got the audiobook on sale forever ago and started it recently, I like it well enough but it sort of feels like every 3 chapter is about rape? yes yes it's all very grim, I now know the bad guys are very baaaaad
please move on? ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

I wasn't sure what the story was going to be about until chapter 4's ending which was; okay! This is really interresting let's see where it goes! but then that plot point got dropped and once again I'm waiting to see where this story is going, hoping it'll pick up soon

I started Trail of lightning and Magic Bites at the same time, I'm sticking to trail of lighting because I dont think I can read two stories with the same UF protagonist.

Seriously if you liked Magic Bites, you have to read this one
