Major trigger warning for father/daughter sexual abuse. I have read a lot of books in my life & I don't shy away from dark subject matter but I don't think I've ever been too nauseous to continue after fewer than 50 pages. This is v. skilled writing and I had hoped to love My Absolute Darling but I'm not sure I'll make it through this one. Maybe I'll have more to say about it later but this is attempt #2 so...
