DNF it

I am finding it dry and uninteresting. Going to DNF.

I am giving up on this. Bored with it.

So tedious, boring and dragging. I am seriously thinking of DNFing.

So far, very Ho hum. Definitely not a 5 for me so far. Just hope it gets better soon.

This book is really tedious and seems more to be about medical schools of the time instead of the influenza pandemic. I am finding it boring.

It’s just too tedious. I am giving up this series.

I am going to DNF this. I don’t care for the writer’s style. Too wordy and boring. I gave it a try.

This book is really delightful. It started out with fancy, flowery prose, and I thought “Oh, no.” But the author dropped that extraneous stuff after the first chapter.

Ah, I feel like I have fallen through the stones and am back with my own family. See you later. I have gone to Fraser’s Ridge, and I won’t be back!

This book is really Ho hum so far. I thought it would be better than this. I am about halfway through. I will try to go ahead and finish. This author has a big following. I am not feeling it.

So boring. I want to stop reading it. But I am trying to muddle through. The writing is not the same as the first book, Practical Magic. I do not DNF many books, but may have to with this one.

I don’t understand it. It is not bringing me any joy or closeness to God. In fact I just want to stop reading it and chuck it on the DNF pile. I saw the movie and was also let down by it. Was hoping the book would be better. Life is too short to continue reading a boring book.
