I love an unhinged, hyper-fixated, and utterly detached woman, and My Husband delivers! The prose is cold and almost clinical, which works well with the narrator’s obsessive inner world. There’s a quiet, creeping tension that keeps you turning pages, but at times, it drags under the weight of its own introspection.
