Emerson is a pretentious brat. So far all I'm getting from this book it that she loves her town and herself. I've been beaten over the head with it for 30 pages now. Please tell me it gets better.

This book should be a movie!

I'm honestly not sure if I can finish this book. There is not one likeable character. The women are stupid, the children are annoying, and the vampire is a disgusting con man. I'm over 100 pages in, and I've yet to find a plot to follow.

At first I thought I wouldn't make it this far. Reading a description of someone's grief go on chapter after chapter was getting tedious. But now I'm hooked. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I've reached the point where I'm skipping past the sex scenes just to finish the story. Are these people or rabbits? Geez!

I'm having a very hard time getting through this book. Where's the witty dialogue? The characters are boring!
