This Pulitzer-prize winning author is coming to our local library in a few weeks so I quickly checked out his book to read it. I'm about halfway through this series of short stories. It's beautifully written and gives you a haunting insight into the Vietnam war and to those who eventually moved from that country to the United States. More to come...

I'm almost done with this book and it's a fascinating look into a character who helped shape the Civil War in so many ways, from the Confederate side. Recommended by a client, this book has taught me a lot about the war and the personalities behind it.
