Such an amazing read so far!
I appreciate how Casati, through Clytemnestra, explores the cultural, social, and ideological differences between Greek kingdoms—particularly in how women are unfortunately perceived—using Clytemnestra’s homeland, Sparta, as the central point of comparison.

The way the author illustrates each of the character’s struggles and anxieties they battle internally is so different. The way Sally Rooney writes completely sets her apart from other contemporary romance novels I’ve read in the past in such a wonderful way. So far such a great read and I’m excited to see how these characters come back to each other.
