So, I'm not far in, but boy this guy is super non-self aware and I honestly hate to hear how he's idiotically lied to his wife. It's still been funny though. We'll see.

Currently listening to the audiobook. I usually adore when the author reads something himself. I'm not so sure about him and the other voice actors though (seriously, he has voice actors for a memoir).

That aside, at this point, I feel like he's full of shit. I hope this book turns around, because right now I'm a but disappointed.

Lilly is definitely a true Slytherin- so far I wonder if she realizes that not everyone HAS the same ambitious drive as her.

So far this book is UNBELIEVABLY dry. However, since it was originally published in the 1700s, I think it would be unfair to criticize the wordiness. Still, I may not finish it.

I am deeply enjoying this book! Having read Klosertman's "But What If We're Wrong" also adds an interesting layer to the story of the discovery of cholera in a world convinced that disease was caused by "bad air."

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I kinda want Offerman to just stop talking at this point.

I'm enjoying this. Actually, I adore it, and I never expected more than to kinda like it. That what I love about books! Sometimes they can be even better than the hype.
