Fun!

Good one! Very LA. Very noir. Engaging.

My gosh this was written nearly 100 years ago.
A classic.

Re-reading and glad I chose to

Peculiar. Intriguing. Worth reading.

Super fun!

Barreling through this; it’s great.

It’s making me anxious and I have to take breaks but it is captivating to read.

Oh wow I am really enjoying this.

Fascinating!

This is wild

Re-reading again. One of my favorites!

The middle third is indispensable.

Each chapter gets more imaginative. Loving it.

This is wild and fun to read

Wow.

This is really good.

Re-reading this. It’s hard to describe the experience: it’s difficult, confounding, intoxicating. I have no idea how the author imagined and created this journey. It is at the same time wildly engaging, yet hard to read in long intervals. I love it.

Delicious.

Really thorough but readable, though some of the language is unfortunate in 2021 (and probably then)

Some of this isn’t aging well, however.

Part 1 down! This is gonna take forever but i am glad I am reading it.

Veeeeeery long but gonna give it a shot!

Gripping, fascinating, bewildering. Fantastic read.

This is pretty weird...it has me hooked right now

Was slow reading at first having to flip back and forth to check people's names and maps and stuff, but I'm in it now. So much drama!
