I was unimpressed with this work. I did manage to finish it, but it it is not a series that I am interested in going any further with.

A very interesting book. It is well written and hardly formulaic, but it does convey a good message.

Well and truly written. An extensive look at the history and inaccuracies which have crept into our lives and our churches. Thank you to Ms Dougherty!

Like all of Sears' books, this one is long and verbose, but he does write a good story and keeps it interesting with all of the details.

This is a in-depth look at one of the more obscure, but incredibly rich portions of scripture. It is well worth the time and dedication one can put into reading.

This is a very graphic depiction of the surprise and devastation of what is seemingly the most destructive force in nature. A comparison between the amount of power contained in the nuclear arsenals of the United States and Russia not being able to power a hurricane for 24 hours is close to correct, it is awe inspiring. The book contrasts what happened to individuals and to society as a whole in a fascinating way.

A string of cliches done in an uninteresting way.

I could not finish this book. I felt it began to get bogged down in so many details.
