Struggling to enjoy the story due to questionable writing.
-The roommate ad was placed on Craigslist. The book was published in 2023. Does Craigslist even still exist?
-The girl makes art from trash. I suppose it’s a legit thing people do but VERY hard to relate to.
-The coffee shop ordering scene. The names of the drinks and sizes were completely absurd and should be mocked. Ordering plain coffee is normal.

Seems more an ode to authors and those in the writer community.

Actual plot was had potential to be interesting but all the other repetitive prose about the woes of writing is enough to bore me to not finish.

Not going to finish this one...

Lost interest. Story is way too long. Really enjoyed the first section depicting the virus spreading and how it affected everyday people. The supernatural fight against an evil entity was unnecessary and I struggled to see why it was so important for an us vs them fight instead of working to rebuild a broken world.

Story is enjoyable but not a fan of the narration. She ends most sentences on a high note making them sound like questions.
