This got off to kind of a weird start. The author talks about a body found in Washington before going on a tangent about the history of Chinese exploration on the West Coast. He eventually gets to the mysteries of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River not I’m not sure why that first part about Washington was necessary.

The title of the first chapter is the Grand Canyon and Colorado River Mysteries.

So freaking creepy but I can’t put this down. It’s really hard not to peek ahead because I need to know what’s happening. I’m scared in the best way, which hasn’t happened to me with a story in a very long time.
