While I like the relationship enough, I wish that these first 50 pages were way longer or done as flashbacks in a dual timeline sort of way throughout the book because I don’t feel like I understand the characters enough to understand why they did what they did or the importance of their relationship.

Why do I do this to myself?

Well this is the farthest I’ve made it into a book since March so I call that a success 😂

Side note: never really been on board with the whole “my dad will ban us from being together” plot but I can’t take it seriously when the characters are two grown adults. It’s overused in YA but it doesn’t make sense here
