I dont buy any of these people as friends. What do you mean all of your friends disappeared right in front of you and you dont go looking to see if they are alright? With frienss like these, who needs enemies?

I cannot put into WORDS how funny this book is.

Why am I bored?
The villains so far seem super uninteresting. And how the fuck can you make fire dragons and court intrigue boring?
I care about none of the characters. How?
Oh that's a lie, I care about Kit. A side character there for a bit of comic relief and who is probably going to die because his friend is too dumb to keep his mouth shut at an enemy court. Ugh.

Take everything with a grain of salt. The author is very very very biased. Do not expect facts. Do not expect truth.

"This is a [..] reference to the Knights of old. [..] They woke up every day and donned armor. And the went forth and did good deeds and administered justice in the land. Gunpowder defeated armor and the knight went away"

There is so much wrong with this statement I don't even know where to start. Pick up a fucking history book, please.

Terribly slow. In every sense of the word. Main Character is of course the greatest tactical thinker around and outsmarts everyone in seconds.
