The human family and most of the surrounding cast seem awful. Life as a struggling peasant I guess. Not sure how anyone thinks they would survive if Cinderella, I mean Feyre, were to go away. The fey are at least alien to her, and have been wronged by her, so them being so antagonistic makes sense. Then we keep being reminded that fey cannot lie, while Feyre keeps second guessing everything they explicitly state.

Plot is slowly progressing. Faile is still terrible. Berelain is also terrible. Perrin is actually behaving like a believable character. Enjoying this so far, preparing for the inevitable flip to loathing.

Read for about 2 hours according to the Kindle. In many books you would be getting a good start. In WoT you might be done with the prologue.

Finally moving forward with the mission. This book was made for TV, all the requisite fluff is written into it. Not saying I don't like the book, it just seems like more padding than necessary.
