A slight step up from Book 1.
The payoff and climax landed better this time, making the emotional arc more satisfying. Still cozy, romantic, and fun, with some genuinely moving moments. A few side plots—like the meeting with the famous author—felt aimless and didn’t add much to the overall story, but the charm carried it through. Looking forward to seeing if some of these new characters will return in future books
