DNF.

DNF. I can’t. I hate the way she treats the guys. I just don’t like her.

DNF. I’m struggling. I’m so bored.

DNF. It says it can be read as a stand alone but it really shouldn’t be. There’s a lot going on from other books that I didn’t read so I’m a bit lost. It’s shaping up to be a great read but I’m in an m/m mood and have no desire to read the previous book/books.

I’m not finished but I can say this book isn’t getting 5 stars. Kayla is way too child like. I love the whole scared, weak woman trope but not when they act more like a child. In the beginning I had no clue I was reading about someone in college. I thought it was starting or looking back to a girl in like 8th grade.

You’ll never forget the color of anyone’s eyes or hair or their scent with the way they’re constantly brought up.

DNF. It’s not bad, just not holding my attention

I’m hoping the overuse of the word ‘freaking’ will come to an end.

This is boring me to death. I actually just considered cleaning. DNF.

I can’t finish this. Everly is the kind of woman I can’t stand. Something happened in her past she won’t tell anyone about and doesn’t really want to be involved with anyone. That’s fine BUT, she keeps sleeping with Declan then saying ‘no more’ but does it again and just playing the victim while screwing with him. Also, every guy that comes across her wants her. No. I’m done.

Why is who decorated and painted the house repeated in every book? We’re 4 books in, we know. Also, the overuse of ‘gals’ ‘dude’ and ‘mmkay’ is distracting.

I’m enjoying this so far but the overuse of the word ‘must’ is killing me. It makes them sound robotic.

Why do people write books like this and use the word tummy?

Not sure if I’ll be finishing this book. Only on page 45 and Winter sounds like a child at 20yrs old. Not great writing.

On the cover Entertainment Weekly says this book is “Unspeakably hot”. I can’t say I agree. I’m actually kinda bored 😐 Hopefully it picks up cause I bought all 3 books.

Not sure if I’ll be finishing this book. While I enjoy dark bully romance, this is straight up abuse. Not what I was looking for.

I’m struggling. I feel like Kas being the ‘jailer’ is being dragged out. I’m close to just stopping.

I love Colleen Houck’s books and I’ve enjoyed this series but I cannot stress how much I hate Kelsey. She gets worse with every book.
