In chapter 15, can’t say I love King’s sex scene. I’m just hoping that it was written that way BECAUSE of the story (I think there’s a reason!) and less of King trying to make an erotic story. After his infamous scene in IT I have zero trust in him. It just gives off massive “men writing women” vibes and kind of kills any momentum I have for the book.

Currently on chapter 11 in part 3. I can’t get over how much different the book is from the show. I’m so glad I’m reading it. Having read IT before had made this book so much better. I’m really really enjoying how Jake is going back to Derry for a while.

It is different from the book but in the best way possible. I am much less sympathetic towards Daenerys’ story, but it’s such a good change from the show

Finished Part 1. Overall I am enjoying it but there’s just so much going on and so many stories that it just seems slow. I’m sure it picks up more but I’m taking my time

So far it’s a fantastic book. Giving a different perspective to federal debt is really enlightening.

I can see why this became two books. This book really starts to kick off in the third act.
