Would it be unhinged to DNF a book based on characters names? Every single name is literally the worst. We have Prisca, Tibris, Chista, Keilor, Marth, Rythos, Galon and some other weird names I’ve probably forgot to mention 🙄

Please. Does this get any better? It’s like a 12 year old wrote this book. How are there so many 5 star reviews?? Something is not right 🤨

This is soooo slow and I don’t like the writing style at all. Putting this on pause for now.

Barely even halfway through and I. Am. So. Bored. This is a very wordy slow burn which doesn’t jive well with my ADD. These 17 lengthy chapters I’ve read should’ve been condensed into 5 or 6.

I really want to DNF but I’m gonna keep on trucking because of all the fantastic reviews. Wish me luck on the rest that I’m not entirely let down.

Yet another book I’m absolutely bored with 😒

I am sooooo bored. The repetitive inner monologue is killing me slowly and definitely not in a good way. And there’s three more books of this 🙄

Sooooo slow and soooooo repetitive. I’m not digging the first 100 pages of this book and i highly doubt I keep this up for 400+ more pages.

Putting this back on the shelf for now... just not feeling it.

I think I’m gonna have to throw in the towel with this book. Dealing with all the repetition from the 1st two books and then having the 1st half of this last book in the trilogy continuously repeat details is really grating on my nerves 🙄. I can’t believe how much this trilogy is beyond filled with repetition, let alone from a well-seasoned author!
