I’m pausing the book here because I want to read for Christmas and I wasn’t as excited to read this book.

THIS. WAS. PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Omg Serena and Koen my sweet love struck babies!! They were so precious! So funny! So great together! And getting Serena’s backstory was sooooo gooood!!! I loved seeing how she was connected not only to Koen but to the Northwest and it was GREAT seeing Lowe and Misery again. Honestly an AMAZING read. I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK. And I re-read Bride before Mate and that was good!

Okay so I was worried that if they had sex too early, she would end up being rude to him. And I was correct lol. And I get it, deadly game & whatnot, but Ophelia, you could be a little nicer sis. This man is literally keeping you alive. Which also feels like cheating and I don’t like that. She’s got all these special abilities but FOR WHAT?

I’m already thoroughly enjoying myself. I love a good cowboy/cowgirl romance 🥰
