This is like the third time I've restarted this book. I keep dropping it for something else. I want to read it though.

Opps, pp: 37 mentions a prison break playing on the television in the background. I need hints of whats going on around the high-rise. Hopefully there will be more of that.

On pp: 35 and I don't know. I'm having a hard time buying into the story. What's driving the inhabitants of the co-op to this strange behavior? It's a little bit of a stretch. I know it's dystopian fiction and all, but I think the book needed a little back story about the society around the high rise. The condition of society may explain what is happening within the building. I'm going to read a little more. Hopefu

Richards crawling through that tiny sewer pipe, through the elbow joints and all, really gave me the claustrophobic jitters!

"So far this is an interesting book. I like the way/speed at which the plot is progressing and find myself cheering for the protagonist. If I'm cheering for the protagonist than this tells me the book is good IMO. The countdown chapters are very affective; it definitely adds to the suspense buildup."

This would make a FANTASTIC remake if done well; with the right actors and director. This would make a FANTASTIC remake if done by the right director, and with the right cast.

So far the book is not disappointing at all. The characters are engaging, and the plot is skillfully crafted.
