I am so impressed by Andy Weir's science writing. It's so attainable to those (like me) who are physics dunces. I can only assume it "checks out" with those who know what they're reading. Seriously. I'm just... SO. IMPRESSED.

Read Anna Lee Huber's and Christine Trent's portions of the anthology.
Enjoyed Huber's as I'm a fan of the Lady Darby series, and the way the mystery was solved seemed plausible.
Christine Trent's was ok but I didn't love the undertaker character. Why on earth would she be so involved in solving murders - and a victorian female undertaker?! I just don't know about that. Not convinced.

*Finished Susanna Kearsley's novella (first story in the anthology). I have wanted to read her books but never got around to it... now I think I might have to fast-track that plan. Hugh reads like a (much) more taciturn and slightly more murder-y cousin to Jamie Fraser and I think I'm here for it. The watch is a little meh but honestly the rest of the story was good enough that I don't mind.
