A collection of shorter stories! Just finished the first Christmas story that cantered on Georgianas engagement and how the events surrounding Christmas will impact her impression of the man she is engaged to. I thoroughly enjoyed the authors writing style and the characters were portrayed masterfully. Although it all seemed to get resolved too quickly in the last few pages!

Loving the way this is written.. As an example this is how Darcy describes his love of Elizabeth: “But even if the lady never holds affection for me, I cannot abandon my need for Miss Elizabeth in my life; for although my love for Elizabeth sometimes brings me pain, it is also the most beautiful emotion I ever knew. It fills me. It completes me.”

Writing style does not appeal to me.. Darcy seems too easily won over by Elizabeths charms.

It's sounds similar to another book I have read... Any idea of it was renamed when published?

Already ridiculous, how could Darcy have ascertained his feelings for Elizabeth after one meeting? Ridiculous!

So far the novel sounds like Jane Eyre

So far I don't like how Georgiana's character is portrayed and I don't think that Darcy would have said the things written to her after Ramsgate. Georgiana is bitter against her brother and things Elizabeth is a fortune hunter. This is so out of character of Georgina and Darcy. I hope it improves.

This is getting more and more ridiculous! The life of Anne is horrific and Lady Catharines plotting is ridiculous and ludicrous! I don't even want to call her a lady. Why am I still reading it? Only because I paid for the eBook.

This book is frustrating. The story line is good but it's poorly written. How can things change rapidly Ina one paragraph to another.. What is in one paragraph should be devoted to one chapter if not more, I don't see what another 200ages could possibly say when we're already at the end it seems. Thence of the novel is not realistic at all! Quite frustrating, making me want to give up reading it!

Starting back at the start of their relationship and now jump forward 8 years to when the meet again. I loved the last lines of 1803 before we jump to 1814 - "I would win prizes from the Navy as would set me up for life, and I would have none but the sea as my mistress, for, even with all her moods, she was less capricious than a woman. I would remain a bachelor for the rest of my days." Now onto 1814!!
